ICOP 2014 - International Conference on Ophthalmic Photography
Topics/Call fo Papers
Since 1986, the International Conference on Ophthalmic Photography has been produced every four years by an international planning committee made up of representatives from the leading ophthalmic diagnostic imaging societies around the world. The conference is a collaborative effort of:
Australian Institute of Medical and Biological Illustration
Ophthalmic Imaging Association
Ophthalmic Photographers' Society
Ophthalmic Photography Netherlands
The Ophthalmic Photographers' Society (OPS) has kindly and bravely agreed to host the 8th Quadrennial ICOP 2014 in Toronto, the cosmopolitan capital of Ontario, Canada. Cynthia VandenHoven, CRA is the General Chair and James Soque, CRA, COA is the Education Chair of this program. They have been working diligently with the ICOP committees to produce an amazing experience for all who attend. They have arranged for the meeting to be held at the University of Toronto's St. Michael's College, a "secret oasis in the heart of downtown Toronto."
The ICOP 2014 program includes prestigious keynote speakers, mornings of traditional OPS Mid-Year 30 minute lectures, afternoons of traditional ICOP abstract sessions, an extensive trade show, a photo competition that is open to all attendees, and a Friday evening reception. Throughout the 24 year tradition of ICOP, this has been the premier event in global ophthalmic imaging; a meeting not to be missed.
The official ICOP accommodation is at the Eaton Chelsea, Toronto. ICOP has arranged for a special conference room rate at $149 (CAD). Be sure to allow enough time after ICOP to check out some of the exhibits at the Scotiabank CONTACT Photography Festival taking place the month of May. Refer to the YOUR TORONTO STAY page for reservation, venue and tourism details.
On Friday evening, the reception will be held immediately following the lectures at St. Michael's College. Be sure to join us as we mingle with our international colleagues!
The latest news, travel tips, and general advice for attending ICOP 2014 will be updated from this page. Check back as we get close to the program for the latest information.
