A one-day conference to be held on the 28th June as part of a wider weekend dedicated to celebrating the life and legacy of the renowned Anne Lister; 19th century diarist, landowner, explorer and lesbian icon.
We invite 300-word abstracts (for 20-minute-long papers) on any topic relating to Anne Lister including womens studies, gender studies and other related topics (papers need not relate specifically to Anne Lister, just topics relevant to her life and times).
All submissions to be sent to richard.mcclenaghan-AT-calderdale.gov.uk by 2pm on Friday 28th February 2014.
