ICSI 2014 - Fifth International Conference on Swarm Intelligence (ICSI'2014)

The Fifth International Conference on Swarm Intelligence (ICSI’2014) will be held in Hefei, Anhui Province, China from October 17 to 20, 2014. ICSI’2014 serves as a forum for scientists, engineers, educators, and practitioners to exchange the latest advantages in theories, technologies, and applications of swarm intelligence and related areas. Prospective authors are invited to contribute high-quality papers (6-10 pages) to ICSI’2014 through Online Submission System. Submitting to ICSI’2014 is a blind submission and the reviewing is double blind again at this year. Papers presented at ICSI’2014 will be published in Springer’s Lecture Notes in Computer Science (indexed by EI, ISTP, DBLP, and ISI) and some high-quality papers will be selected for special issues in SCI-indexed International Journals.
Hefei is the capital and largest city of Anhui Province in Eastern China. It is the political, economic, and cultural centre of Anhui. Hefei was named one of the three national garden cities , and it enjoys the reputation of ”the Green City”. The Feishui River runs through it and it is surrounded by lush trees and fragrant flowers all the year around. The layout of the city proper features ”Gardens in the City, and the City in Gardens”. This is said to be unique in China. Hefei has been declared an excellent city for tourism in China because of its numerous tourist destinations. Such beautiful scenic spots as Bao Gao Park, Xiaoyaojin Park and Huancheng Park are located in the Hefei urban area, while Mt. Dashu, Mt. Zipeng, and Huiyuan Theme Park in suburban Hefei are highlights in the area.
