La Casa de las Américas invites you to participate in the Round Table " Integration and Collaboration in the context of information organizations in Latin America and the Caribbean, " will be held in the framework of the XIII International Congress of Information Info'2014 . It will be a pleasure
have your presence from 14 to 18 April 2014 , in the Palace of Conventions in Havana, Cuba.
Among the topics discussed at this table are :
-Cooperative programs for the development, processing and access to collections.
-Current trends in the organization and representation of information : frameworks for
resource description , metadata , rules for description, conceptual models and
functional requirements for the creation of registers of representation .
-Development of integrated tools and cooperatives for access, retrieval and
use of information ; convergence of actors from different communities
practice for the joint development of these tools.
Working languages
.The working languages ??will be Spanish and English.
Guidelines for submission of communications
-Documents shall not exceed ten pages.
-They will be in letter format ( 8 ? x 11 ), with margins of 2.5 cm.
-The textual body will be justified and shall be in Arial 12, with 1.5 line spacing . -Number page is located at the bottom center of the sheet. If footnote was needed , this is available on a single line and single space.
-The first page should include: title (centered , bold and score 14), lead author
coauthors ( in bold italics ), institution, address of the institution, country, telephone and email address ( in bold) .
-The file with the communication must be identified as follows : name,
nombres_info2014.doc ( with information on the principal author).

-The title of the file will contain at least three key words that reflect the core content job.
-The size should not exceed 1 MB and should be sent to the email bibliobd-AT-casa.cult.cu
-Attach a résumé of the authors , exposing more professional aspects
relevant , at a maximum of 200 words.
