SIMPAR 2014 - International Conference on Simulation, Modeling, and Programming for Autonomous Robots
Topics/Call fo Papers
The 2014 International Conference on Simulation, Modeling, and Programming for Autonomous Robots (SIMPAR 2014) will take place from October 20 to 23, 2014 at the "Giovanni XXIII" Conference Center in Bergamo, Italy.
Characterized by the division of the town into two levels, the lower city, which is modern and dynamic, and the famous Città Alta, a historical and artistic gem, Bergamo is one of the most interesting cities in Italy, especially due to its capacity to unite human genius with the beauty of nature.
The objective of the SIMPAR Conference is to bring together researchers from academia and industry to identify and solve the key issues in software development for autonomous robots and to boost a smooth shifting of results from simulated to real applications.
Proceedings
It is planned to publish the proceedings with Springer LNCS/LNAI like the previous three conference editions. Workshop proceedings will be published online with ISBN number. A special issue of the Journal of Software Engineering for Robotics related to the conference will be planned.
Important Dates
May 5, 2014: Submission of full-length papers, workshops and tutorial proposals
June 30, 2014: Notification of acceptance
July 28, 2014: Final camera-ready papers due (no extensions)
