AWOSS 2014 - 5th Atlantic Workshop on Semantics and Services

The 5th Atlantic Workshop on Semantics and Services is co-located with 2014 T4G Big Data Congress II, which will take place in Saint John, New Brunswick. AWoSS 2014 will include a technical program consisting of presentations of research papers and invited talk describing the state of the art in Semantic Web and Services research. AWoSS 2014 invites researches and practitioners of Semantic Web and Services to submit abstracts for presentations and participate at the workshop. The main theme of AWoSS 2014 is applications of Semantic Web and Services to Big Data.
AWoSS brings researches and practitioners from Atlantic Provinces to exchange ideas and best practices in (Web) semantics and services, with focus on their applications to Big Data.
AWoSS provides an excellent platform to demonstrate semantic web and services applications/prototypes, especially on Big Data. AWoSS invites industry to demonstrate their experiences in developing semantic web and services based R&D projects and products.
AWoSS particularly encourages students to present their research work so that they can get feedback from larger Semantic Web and services community.
AWoSS aims to foster an Atlantic community of Semantic Web and Services scholars and practitioners, with the aim to establish research collaborations between AWoSS participants.
