UCGIS 2014 - UCGIS 2014 Symposium

Join us in California at the 2014 UCGIS Symposium as advance our knowledge in GIScience research and education. During this activity-filled event, the UCGIS research program will profile original contributions that emphasize the role of place and space in GIScience research and education ? including data models, visualization, challenges of big data (and little data), geo privacy, free and open source technologies and standards, and ethical challenges in geospatial data collection, use, and analysis. Participants will also engage directly in the collaborative process of updating the original 2006 UCGIS Body of Knowledge. Contribute your ideas for new content, new platforms for interaction and discovery, and new approaches to revising.
