4th Leuphana Conference on Entrepreneurship (formerly: GMLG Conference), JANUARY 16-18, 2014!
Conference Venue: Leuphana Campus & Hotel Bergström, Lueneburg
Conference Theme: People, Opportunities and Technologies
Again, the international Leuphana Conference on Entrepreneurship (formerly: GMLG Conference) will bring together scientists, entrepreneurs, financiers, practitioners, and students. The first conference day will consist of parallel sessions with paper presentations as well as workshop sessions (see "Call for Papers"). We are proud to inform you that Prof. Alain Fayolle (EMLYON Business School, France), Prof. Charles Matthews (University of Cincinnati, U.S.) and Prof. Jay Mitra (University of Essex, United Kingdom) have already agreed to take over the keynote speaker positions on Friday.
In addition to paper presentations, students will participate in a business idea pitch competition with attractive prizes. In order to support an exchange of ideas and experiences between the multifaceted conference attendants, Speakers' and Companies' Corners will invite to establish a more personal contact during the breaks on Friday. We are delighted to welcome again well-known companies as conference supporters. The conference will also include one-day practitioner-workshops for students on Saturday.
A recent study confirms that Leuphana is the most start-up friendly university in Northern Germany (no. 4 in all of Germany). Luenale 2013 (a combined ceremony of Lueneburg's four most relevant business awards) and Lueneburg's Night of the Start-ups show once more the great entrepreneurial potential at Leuphana. In this context, our conference is a very innovative way of teaching that combines cutting-edge international research with highly practical and action-oriented workshops and pitches. LCE2014 will be embedded into the project EXIST - Entrepreneurial Culture - The Entrepreneurial University, funded by the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology.
Welcome to LCE2014!
Sincerely,
Dr. Silke Tegtmeier
