NPC 2014 - The 11th IFIP International Conference on Network and Parallel Computing
Topics/Call fo Papers
The goal of 11th IFIP International Conference on Network and Parallel Computing (NPC 2014) is to establish an international forum for engineers and scientists to present their excellent ideas and experiences in system fields of distributed and parallel computing. NPC 2014 welcomes paper submissions on innovative work from researchers in academia, industry and government describing original research work in Network and Parallel Computing. Previous events in this series have been successful in attracting high quality papers and a wide international participation.
NPC 2014 topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
* Applications of parallel and distributed computing.
* Systems, networks, and architectures for high end computing.
* Parallel and multicore issues and opportunities.
* Big data computing.
* Virtualization of machines, networks, and storage.
* Programming languages and environments.
* I/O, file systems, and data management.
* Resource management, scheduling, and load-balancing.
* Performance modeling, simulation, and prediction.
* Fault tolerance, reliability and availability.
Publications:
NPC 2014 will follow a new publication model. All the conference paper submissions will go through International Journal of Parallel Programming submission system, with paper length and requirement of the journal. Top ranked reviewed papers (more than 10) will be published directly by the International Journal of Parallel Programming (SCI indexed); other accepted papers will be published in conference proceedings, by LNCS, Springer (EI, Scopus). More information please refer to the publishing model online, http://grid.chu.edu.tw/npc2014/publications.html
Paper Submission Guidelines:
Submissions should follow IJPP submission requirement. Authors should submit the manuscript via http://www.editorialmanager.com/ijpp/ and choose the SI: 11th IFIP International Conference on Network and Parallel Computing.
