Topics/Call fo Papers
RACS 2014 will provide an excellent forum for addressing research issues of concern within the adaptive and convergent computing area. Adaptive and convergent computing concentrates on innovative solutions to complex problems in all areas of industry and sciences using adaptive and convergent techniques in computer science and engineering. It involves programming, software engineering, graphics, databases, wireless networks, security, distributed systems, operating systems and so on.
Authors are invited to submit original papers in all areas related to the applied computing. Topics will include, but not be limited to, the following areas:
- Agent Systems and Applications
- Bioinformatics
- Computational Signal Processing
- Data Mining
- Database Systems
- Distributed and Parallel Systems
- Embedded Systems
- Fault Tolerance and Reliability
- Grid Computing
- Intelligent Systems
- Mobile Networks
- Multimedia
- Object Orientation
- Operating Systems
- Security and Trusted Computing
- Sensor Networks
- Smartphone Platform and Applications
- Software Engineering
- Technologies for E-Learning
- WWW Applications and Technologies
Papers
All papers will be fully refereed and undergo a blind review process by at least three referees. All accepted papers will be published as an ACM proceeding and will be included in the ACM Digital Library. Extended versions of selected papers will be published in several International Journals as a special section for the RACS 2014.
Special Workshop/Track Proposal
In conjunction with the RACS 2014, a number of special workshops and tracks will be organized.
Workshop/track proposals which should include "Title of the workshop/track", "Purpose of the
workshop/track", "Short bios of organizers", "A tentative list of TPC", and "A tentative website
address" are to be sent to the program chair (jiman-AT-ssu.ac.kr) by March 1, 2014.
Important Dates
