Humanitarian Technology: Science, Systems and Global Impact 2014 is being held in Boston, MA on May 13 ? 15, 2014.
The purpose of HT2014 is to bring together scientists, engineers, technologists and policy makers from across academic, government, industry and non-government organizations to discuss, share and promote recent research and accomplishments across all aspects of technology, from science to systems, that have a global humanitarian impact.
HT2014 will be an exciting, relevant and technically focused conference that will explore emerging technologies that further enable global humanitarian assistance, such as intelligent systems, automated decision support, ad-hoc (wireless) networks, collaborative geospatial information systems, big data analytics and data/sensor resource management. Conference tracks and subject topics will be presented within an operationally-relevant context, drawing as much as possible from real-world experiences in disaster relief, humanitarian assistance, emergency management, disease management, and other areas.
