MFCS 2014 - 39th International Symposium on Mathematical Foundations of Computer Science
Topics/Call fo Papers
The series of MFCS symposia, organized since 1972, has a long and well-established tradition. Until 2012, the MFCS conferences were held in rotation in the Czech Republic, Poland, and Slovakia. MFCS 2013 took place in Klosterneuburg, Austria and MFCS 2014 will be organized for the second time outside of the three countries of origin.
The MFCS conferences encourage high-quality research in all branches of theoretical computer science. Their broad scope provides an opportunity to bring together researchers who do not usually meet at specialized conferences.
The scientific program of MFCS 2014 will consist of invited lectures and contributed presentations selected by the international program committee.
Awards: The European Association for Theoretical Computer Science (EATCS) sponsors a Best Paper and a Best Student Paper award at MFCS 2014.
Program committee chair:
Zoltán Ésik (U. of Szeged, Hungary)
Program committee co-chairs:
Erzsébet Csuhaj-Varjú (Eötvös Loránd U., Budpest, Hungary)
Martin Dietzfelbinger (TU Ilmenau, Germany)
Important dates
Submission: April 18, 2014.
Notification: June 3, 2014.
Camera-ready: June 16, 2014.
Conference: Aug. 25-29, 2014.
Organizers: MFCS 2014 is organized by the Department of Algorithms and their Applications, Faculty of Informatics, Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest, and the Department of Foundations of Computer Science, Faculty of Science and Informatics, University of Szeged, in cooperation with EATCS.
