The AMSC 2014 workshop is a forum to share ideas, projects, researches results, applications, experiences etc. associated with agent-base solutions for various issues in manufacturing and supply chains. This workshop will be held in Salamanca as the part of International Conference on Practical Applications of Agents and Multi-Agent Systems 2014 (PAAMS 2014).
Recently number of researchers around the world are investigating potential applications of agent-based systems in the production environment. The aim of AMSC workshop is to provide a platform for discussion about the new multiagent solutions that may be successfully applied for improvement of manufacturing operations and supply chain management. There is a number of emerging issues in this research area with promising potential for agents application like, for example, resource allocation, process modelling, production planning, production scheduling, production control, materials flow planning, etc. Both theoretical and practical approaches in the area are welcome.
Submission instructions
Everyone interested in participating and presenting his/her work in this workshop may do so by submitting a contribution. The papers should be written in English, with a maximum length of 10-12 pages. They must consist of original, relevant and previously unpublished sound research results related to any of the workshop’s topics .
Accepted papers will be included in the proceedings, published in the Advances in Intelligent and Soft-Computing series of Springer Verlag. At least one of the authors will be required to register and attend the symposium to present the paper in order to include the paper in the conference proceedings.
All papers must be formatted according to the CCIS Series of Springer template. This template can be downloaded here:
