ECIR 2014 - 36TH EUROPEAN CONFERENCE ON INFORMATION RETRIEVAL

From April 13th to April 16th, 2014, the University of Amsterdam organizes the 36th European Conference on Information Retrieval (ECIR 2014).
The annual European Conference on Information Retrieval is the main European forum for the presentation of new research results in the field of Information Retrieval. Since 1978, ECIR has successfully brought together leading researchers and developers from the information retrieval community in Europe and increasingly in recent years also from across the world. The conference focuses on established and emerging problems in the fields of amongst others Information Retrieval, Big Data, Information Extraction and Recommender Systems and helps to shape future research directions through the publication of high quality, applied, and theoretical research findings.
ECIR 2014 will feature a high quality programme including long and short papers, posters, demonstrations, workshops, and tutorials as well as an Industry Day. Attendees at ECIR will be exposed to results and experiences from the latest research and be able to network with the leading researchers and practitioners in the field in the field of information retrieval.
