QC 2014 - 7th Quality Conference in the Middle East

Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai and President of HBMeU and under the umbrella of the Hamdan Bin Mohammed e-University Congress, on behalf of the organizing committee, I am honoured and delighted to welcome you to the 7th Quality Conference in the Middle East which will take place at the Atlantis hotel, Dubai between 3rd -5th of March, 2014, under the theme of “Towards Sustainable Excellence: Leading a Successful Transformation”.
This year’s theme of the conference is taking a close look at Sustainable Excellence. Organizations should identify the challenges that lie ahead; while acknowledging their strengths and pinpointing the opportunities to sustain excellence over the long run. The conference will shed light on the techniques and practices that will help organizations understand, anticipate, fulfil, and exceed the needs and expectations of their stakeholders, and thus produce lasting prosperity while preserving the natural resources for the future generations to come.
A number of exciting activities are planned for this year’s conference including: two keynote speeches, Policy and Strategy Roundtable discussions, strong line-up of invited and contributed presentations, featured poster sessions, various discussion forums, and interesting post-congress workshops. We also expect to offer technical demonstrations and numerous opportunities for informal networking.
Papers presented at the conference will be published in the conference proceedings, and the best papers will also be considered for publication in the following Journals:

The International Journal of Excellence in e-Solution for Management, ISSN: 1993-8667.
As the Conference Chair, I believe that the success of the conference depends ultimately on the many researchers who have worked with me in planning and organizing the conference. In particular, I would like to thank the Scientific Committee for their thorough and timely review of the papers and the selection of the best papers that address the theme of the conference. Recognition also goes to the Congress Organizing Committee members whom all have exerted great efforts in the conference programmes and social activities.
