The WSCN symposium series is organized by SNCS Research Center at the University of Tabuk. SNCS is sponsored by the Saudi Ministry of Higher Education.
The Second Symposium on Wireless Sensor and Cellular Networks (WSCN’13) will take place on December 13-16, 2013, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Wireless communication is the fastest growing segment of communication. Indeed, cellular communication experienced exponential growth in the recent past. This has spurred many new applications especially in Wireless Cellular Networks (WCN) and Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN). The explosive growth in WCN and WSN coupled with the proliferation of wearable computing devices suggests a great future for them. However, many technical challenges remain in designing networks that deliver both performance and reliability.
WSCN’13 will be a dy?namic forum for re?searchers to pre?sent and dis?cuss orig?i?nal ideas to address these challenges and explore ways for collaboration. SNCS, the sponsor of the WSCN series is always interested in granting research and development funds to researchers with innovative ideas. SNCS is especially interested in research that produces intellectual property and culminates in useful products that have the potential for commercialization.
