Inventing the future: Transformative research, imagination and collective action for social change
On behalf of the International Society for Cultural and Activity Research, it is our great pleasure to invite you to Sydney, Australia to participate in the 4th International Congress of ISCAR in September?October 2014.
The invitation extends to researchers from a variety of disciplines such as social sciences, humanities, psychology, education and health, as well as commerce, information systems, knowledge management in organisations and beyond. Both experienced and beginner researchers are encouraged to participate as we continue to explore the traditional, fundamental ideas of sociocultural, cultural-historical and activity approaches and promote new compelling concepts and theoretical developments. A specially allocated day for Early Career Researchers and PhD students promises engaging and illuminating experiences for emerging, eager to learn researchers.
The Congress is marked by prominent keynote speakers who will share their expertise and provide insights into the most recent achievements in research on the societal, cultural and historical dimensions of human practices. The main Congress theme ?“Inventing the future: Transformative research, imagination and collective action for social change”? will no doubt stimulate exciting, thought-provoking and energising debates on the future and our responsibilities in how it will unfold.
We look forward to welcoming you in Sydney in 2014
