Topics/Call fo Papers
Doctoral Workshop at LDIC 2014
Bremen, Germany, February 10, 2014
The Doctoral Workshop is one of the Satellite Events of the 4th International Conference on Dynamics in Logistics ? LDIC 2014. The LDIC 2014 is held in conjunction with the 2nd conference ?Impact of Virtual, Remote and Real Logistics Labs” - ImViReLL’14.
The Doctoral Workshop addresses doctoral candidates in an early stage of their PhD project. It offers an opportunity to present and to defend the own research topic, the first ideas for a research approach and the first findings. The purpose is to generate impact for the progress and the excellence of the thesis by discussing and reviewing the research proposals and to present the own research in an international context. Thus, a second integral aspect of the Doctoral Workshop will be the training of professional presentation skills for science and academia.
The Doctoral Workshop intends to provide those PhD students an opportunity who do not have enough results to contribute with a full conference paper. Nevertheless, the doctoral candidates should take the opportunity to participate also in the conferences which give access to the worldwide leading capacities in the area of logistics. The accepted participants will be invited to register as student.
Addressed Topics
All research topics which are called for the LDIC conference are also relevant for the Doctoral Workshop. The research proposals should address one of the topics listed at www.ldic-conference.org.
