It is a widely known HPC reality that many optimizations and scheduling techniques require a change in the order of operations, creating results that are not bitwise reproducible (BWR). This workshop will bring together members of the HPC community who are affected by the (non-) reproducibility phenomenon in various ways. A number of leading experts from numerical software tools, national labs, academic/military, and both open-source & commercial software development will showcase the latest developments concerning their favorite HPC tool or research method solving a BWR problem, and each will proctor a 30 minute hands-on lab module for the audience to work on.
This workshop is organized by Noah Clemons, a Technical Consulting Engineer for the Developer Products Division at Intel Corporation.
