Topics/Call fo Papers

The conference will build on the tradition of the earlier conferences. The general idea is to encourage informal interaction and exchanges of ideas by limiting the number of participants, concentrating on a few topics, and by presenting new problems and problem areas.
The conference will be divided into segments with each segment devoted to a specific topic. This will allow for little conflict between segments. Papers will be screened by the Program Committee to ensure the quality of presentations. Abstracts and papers should be submitted directly to the Conference Chairman who will handle its review. Social and cultural activities will be included in the 2014 agenda.
Potential participants should send by February 15, 2014 a paper to the conference general chair. The technical program committee will evaluate the papers, and a decision will be sent to the authors by March 1, 2014 with instructions for the final version of the paper, which is due by April 10, 2014. Conference participants will be provided with the conference proceedings (a collection of papers presented at the conference) the proceedings will be indexed at Thomson/Reuters Web of Science database*, and North Holland Scopus*.
Special issues: Expended full paper contributions will be considered for publication in a special issue of the Networking and Electronic Commerce Journal and the Telecommunication Systems Journal. To be considered for the special issue a full paper has to be submitted between May 20 and June 30 to Bezalel Gavish, a paper has to be 26 to 45 pages in length (excluding authors’ biographies), using a 12pt font and 1.5 line spacing. Only papers submitted by authors who registered and paid for the conference will be considered.
The Program Committee is open to any ideas you might have regarding additional topics or format of the conference. The intention is, to limit the number of parallel sessions to three. The conference is scheduled over a weekend to reduce teaching conflicts for academic participants and to enable participants to take advantage of weekend hotel and airfare rates and of events that take place in Prague. The organizing committee is planning special events for this conference. The conference site is the Czech Technical University in Prague, Prague, Czech Republic.
