The 2014 International Zurich Seminar on Communications will be held at the Hotel Zürichberg in Zurich, Switzerland, from Wednesday, February 26, through Friday, February 28, 2014.
High-quality original contributions of both applied and theoretical nature in the following areas are solicited:
Wireless Communications
Information Theory
Coding Theory and its Applications
Detection and Estimation
MIMO Communications
Optical Communications
Fundamental Hardware Issues
Network Algorithms and Protocols
Network Information Theory and Coding
Cryptography and Data Security
Invited speakers will account for roughly half of the talks. In order to afford the opportunity to learn from and communicate with leading experts in areas beyond one's own specialty, no parallel sessions are anticipated. All papers should be presented with a wide audience in mind.
Papers will be reviewed on the basis of a manuscript (A4, not exceeding 4 pages in double-column format) of sufficient detail to permit reasonable evaluation. Authors of accepted papers will be asked to produce a manuscript not exceeding 4 pages in double-column A4 format that will be published in the proceedings. Authors will be allowed twenty minutes for presentation.
The deadline for submission is September 22, 2013.
