ISA 2013 - Workshop on Intelligent System and its Applications (ISA-13)

With the advance of information technologies, more and more data are created digitally today. How to find useful information from this huge amount of data and use it to make better decisions by devices themselves or to help human to do the right taskshas become a vital research topic in modern computing. Making machinesthink has long attracted the attention of researchers from different disciplines. More precisely, innovation in intelligent system can provide additional value for the modern information systems, services, and applications. Among others, machine learning and data mining are obviously the two representative research topics of intelligent system, which are used for different disciplines today. Even more, several soft computing technologies are also used in this research domain, such as neural network, fuzzy, simulated annealing, tabu search, evolutionary computing, and swarm intelligence.
