FES 2013 - Symposium on Critical View of 50 Years of Functional Electrical Stimulation - FES - 50 2013

This session should provide a review of the achieved results with the existing neural prosthesis (for example reaching, grasping, drop foot), analyze some of the challenges FES technology is currently facing and highlight the possible barriers for implementation, clinical implications and the importance of future research in these directions.
