Second Italian Workshop on Machine Learning and Data Mining MLDM.it 2013

December 6th, 2013
Turin, Italy
Workshop of the XIII AI*IA Conference
http://di.unito.it/aixia2013
Following the success of last year first Italian Workshop on Machine Learning and Data Mining held in Rome, at the 12th AI*IA Symposium on Artificial Intelligence, this workshop aims at bringing together researchers actively involved in the fields of machine learning, data mining, pattern recognition, and knowledge discovery.
During the workshop, researchers will have the opportunity to present their recent results and discuss problems and challenges relevant to the community.
Participants will be invited to submit extended abstracts for proposed oral or poster presentations on all aspects of machine learning and data mining. In particular, we plan to consider three types of submissions:
- Original unpublished works (extended abstract, max 4 pages)
- Challenges and vision statements (extended abstract, max 2 pages)
- Works recently published in a major venue of the field (full paper plus one page extended abstract)
All abstract proposals will be reviewed by the program committee for acceptance and selection for oral or poster presentation.
Each abstract has to be submitted in English, and formatted in LaTeX according to the Springer LNCS style.
The meeting is organized by the AI*IA Working Group on Machine Learning and Data Mining whose general goal is to promote Italian scientific activities in the field of machine learning and data mining, and foster collaborations between research groups.
