We invite you to participate in the first International Conference on Intelligence and Knowledge Exploration (MIKE), an initiative for the international meeting on research and applications on various topics of Human Intelligence Mining and Knowledge Discovery. The primary goal is to present the state-of-art scientific results, to disseminate modern technologies and promote collaborative research in Mining Intelligence and Knowledge Exploration.
Human Intelligence has evolved steadily over several generations and in modern days, human expertise is excelling much better in individual domains and knowledge acquiring tasks. So Mining Human Intelligence becomes an essential and incredible part of human expertise / knowledge exploration.
The conference is to focus on the frontiers of Human Intelligence Mining as the primary research field. This conference reflects in keynote addresses on the progress of the field and its connections with related areas, discusses topical problems in a set of workshops, presents industrial solutions, and holds a doctoral consortium to encourage the progress of young researchers.

MIKE 2013 Program Highlights
Apart from the main technical talks, the MIKE 2013 conference will feature the following events to encourage young researchers.
Doctoral Consortium
MIKE 2013 will hold the first Doctoral Consortium (DC) with the following objectives: (1) To provide a platform to students to discuss their current research and to get valuable guidance / feedback on research directions, (2) To offer each student comments / suggestions on their work from faculty and students outside their own institution, and (3) To encourage the formation of a supportive community of scholars towards collaborative research activities. The DC provides young postgraduate students an opportunity to prepare for a perspective research career.
Workshops
MIKE 2013 invites proposals for full day or half day workshops as part of the Workshop Program. MIKE 2013 workshops provide an informal setting in which participants wll have the opportunity to meet and discuss specific aspects of Data / Text Mining so as to exchange their ideas.
