TeNAS 2010 - The 4rd International Workshop on Telecommunication Networking, Applications and Systems TeNAS 2010
Topics/Call fo Papers
Network technologies are in continuous evolution and the usages of the Internet are more pervasive than ever before. Versatile IT is booming and they must be supported by network. Therefore, all areas of telecommunication and communication industry, for instance, networking, applications, services and systems are influenced by this technology trend. This workshop will encourage researchers, professionals and engineers to present their new researches, ideas, and best practices in relevant areas of telecommunications and communication networking, application and systems. It aims to strengthen relations between the communications research groups, industry and universities. The topics of interest include but are not limited to following:
● Mobile Internet Networking & Applications
● Broadband Networking & Applications
● Wireless, Ad hoc, Networks & Applications
● IP Networking & Applications
● Digital Home Networking & Applications
● Next Generation Networks, Fixed-Mobile Convergence
● Network Planning , Operation and Management
● Network/Communication Strategy
● Emerging Technological Development in Data Communication
● Traffic Engineering, Measurement and Modeling
● Protocols, Standards, Securit
● IP Services, IP TV, Triple Play, Telematics
● Advanced Software and System Engineering
●Software as a Service for Telecommunication
●Information as a Service for Telecommunication
●Future Network Management Trends, Applications and Network Automation
●Next Gernaeration OSS architecture and Applications
●Service, Process and Information Models
Special session: “Research and Development on Next Generation Network Technologies”
In recent years, there are several significant technologies that mean to make changes to future Internet. The bandwidth grows with advanced optical backbone and access technologies which give us more flexibility to design applications. Meanwhile, with the exhaustion of IPv4 address, we need not only care about the transition to IPv6, but also the promotion, deployment, and applications of IPv6. The special session seeks papers describing contributions from research and development to the field of IPv6 and optical technologies. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
●IPV6 deployment and applications
●IPv4-IPv6 transition and translation
●IPV6 mobility, security, and anycasting/multicasting
●Optical network testbeds or deployment
●Advenced optical switching technology (optical burst switching, optical packet switching, and lighttrail)
●Passive optical networks (EPON, GPON)
●Control and management for optical networks
