Until now, the aims of the global education are focusing on the cognitive and skill domain more, but less on the affective domain. However, the trend of teaching strategies that ignored students’ learning affections will cause the negative effect on students’ learning, such as learned helplessness. For improving to know well students’ learning affections, in this few years, the affective computing was used to recognize students’ affective status through words, facial expressions, voices and physiological signals etc. The application of affective computing on education included the development of learning medium with positive affections, discovered the learning companies with high affective awareness and established the teaching strategies with cognitive and affective domain. Although the affective learning are widely used in education, it lack for the efficiently scientific evidences to support this point of view. Recently, the scientific evidences from neuroscience, yet-tracking and physiological sensor provided many important findings to support that influences of affections on learning experiences. However, the combination of neuroscience and education domain are just starting. We need more and more researchers and educators join us to investigate these novel issues. The main issue of this workshop is the exploration of scientific evidence on affective learning. This workshop will exhibit by oral presentation and interactive discussion.
