Topics/Call fo Papers

Instead of relying on higher and higher clock speeds, time and memory hungry applications will be developed for next generation High Performance Computing Systems, with the need to exploit highly parallel and distributed architectures. This implies the need for new models of programming such systems. Traditional parallel programming leads to issues of synchronization and deadlocks, the need for parallel programming experts, hardly maintainable code, and problems in porting to other and distributed architectures. This workshop will present and discuss alternative approaches and tools to support highly parallel and diverse target architectures.
Relevant topics for submissions include, but are not limited to:
? High Performance Computing
? Next Generation Computing
? Parallel Programming Models
? Parallel Programming Support
? Flexible Parallel Hardware Support
? Pattern Based Programming
? Algorithmic Skeleton Frameworks
? Use Cases and Success Stories regarding these topics
Workshop Chairs
