DMIoT 2013 - The 2013 International Workshop on Data Mining in Internet of Things
Topics/Call fo Papers
The Internet of Things (IoT) is going to create a worldwhere physical objects are seamlessly integrated into the information networks.in order to provide advanced and intelligent services for human-beings. In IoT, the number of interconnected “things”devices had overtaken the actual number of people population in the world in since 2011, and it is expected to reach 24 billion devices by 2020. However, these massive, heterogeneous and non-synchronous data in sensed or collected by IoT presents introduces significant challenges to the data mining technologies and algorithms that have been successfully used in many areas. In recent years, Data Mining in Internet of Things (DMIoT) has received increasing attention, and has been successfully applied in manyfields.
DMIoT 2013 aims at providing a technical forum workshop for continuously discussing the latest academic and industrial research results related to Data Mining in Internet of Things.
Topics of interest included, but are not limited to:
Data collection and abstraction in IoT
Data synchronization in IoT
Clustering and classification in IoT
Trust, security and privacy of data in IoT
Efficient huge data process
Data fusion and mining algorithms
Pervasive data computing
Neural network computing, learning automata
Modeling and algorithms related to data mining in IoT
Mobile social networking and mobile cloud computing
Smart grid and smart metering
Smart education
Important Dates
Paper submission deadline: July 15th, 2013
Author notification: August 15th, 2013
Final manuscript due: September 15th, 2013
