The 2nd International Conference on Higher Education and Teaching and Learning 2013 is focused on higher education teaching excellence and the scholarship of teaching and learning. The conference will showcase innovative pedagogical practice and research in higher education.
The conference invites academics and researchers to present papers/ posters/ workshops on higher education pedagogies and practices, scholarship of teaching and learning, transnational education and internationalisation, blending authenticity with online learning, assessment and feedback, work-integrated learning, and discussions on the notion of 'classrooms without walls'. Presentation proposals are invited from academics from all disciplines who are engaged in teaching and research in higher education.
The conference is designed to provide college and university faculty the opportunity to discuss and share experiences and innovative teaching techniques. The conference offers concurrent sessions on cutting-edge issues in pedagogy and higher education in a relaxed, congenial atmosphere. There are also opportunities for participants to network with fellow educators. Ultimately, the conference is an opportunity to demonstrate effective instructional practice and disseminate the latest research aimed at improving the quality of higher education.
