Recent advances in sensors, actuators and algorithms have pushed further the use of robotics into healthcare. Robots are now being used in tasks such as minimum invasive surgeries, rehabilitation and services, with an increased growth expected for the upcoming years. The use of robots in healthcare allows reducing rehabilitation time and long-term costs while increasing services availability. This is a very active strong research field which, besides technical hurdles, has to overcome rigid legislation rules. The aim of this workshop is to bring researchers working in robotics for healthcare and end users (medical staff) together to discuss recent advances in this field, including its application and generalized deployment.

AUTHOR'S INSTRUCTIONS

We invite the following original and scientific papers:
- Experience papers on success and failures cases of robotics implementation in real healthcare scenarios;
- Formal and/or technical papers describing recent advances in the state of the art on the topics of the workshop and their (possible) implications;
Accepted papers will be available on IEEEXplore and must follow IEEE guidelines. Check
