The 12th Bar-Ilan Symposium on the Foundations of Artificial Intelligence (BISFAI) will be held Wednesday-Friday, June 19-21, 2013, at Bar-Ilan University, Ramat Gan, Israel.
BISFAI is a biennial regional artificial intelligence symposium - the largest AI event in the Middle East! It is a warm, friendly event, with very high-quality talks. The official language of the symposium is English. The symposium is held in cooperation with the Israel Association for Artificial Intelligence (IAAI).
The main part of BISFAI will have technical sessions which include talks by several invited speakers and regular talks by participants. We call for papers on substantial novel research in all areas of theoretical and applied Artificial Intelligence and related areas, including, but not limited to:
* AI algorithms and knowledge representation
* AI foundations and automated reasoning
* Computational linguistics and natural language processing
* Information retrieval
* Text mining and data mining
* Intelligent agents
* Knowledge-based systems
* Machine learning
* AI planning and search
* Robotics and multi-robot systems
* Probabilistic reasoning
* Temporal reasoning
* Constraint Satisfaction
