SCOPE
The special session is organized at the prestigious ICCCI conference http://software.ucv.ro/ICCCI2013/. The aim of the session on “Collective Computational Intelligence in Educational Context” (ColEdu) is to bring together practitioners and researchers from diverse areas, such as social network analysis, data and web mining, machine learning, intelligent agents among others to share their experience, present current research results and discuss the application of computational collective intelligence tools for designing and supporting educational process. Papers reporting problems related to education in any level including predicting performance and drop-out, planning tasks, creating personalized learning paths, recommending activities and many others are encouraged.

Important Dates
Submission of papers: March 15, 2013
Notification of acceptance: May 10, 2013
Final papers to be received: May 31, 2013
Conference: September 11-13, 2013
Submission Instruction
The papers will be reviewed by ColEdu 2013 International Program Committee. The best submissions accepted for this workshop will be published in the ICCCI conference proceedings. The papers should present original and unpublished research. The conference proceedings will be published in the prestigious series Lecture Notes in Artificial Intelligence and distributed by Springer-Verlag. Please follow the author instructions given at the ICCCI site(http://software.ucv.ro/ICCCI2013/for_authors.html) to format and submit your paper. Authors are invited to electronically submit their paper by Easy Chair system (https://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=iccci2...). All paper submissions will be done electronically, as indicated in the instructions on the conference web site.
