ICSPS 2013 - Fifth International Conference Swimming Pool & SPA

Swimming Pools and SPA represent a great opportunity not only for social development and health promotion, but also for basic and applied research, in several areas of scientific interest.
Previous International Conferences on Swimming Pool and SPA highlighted great interest and provided relevant advancements in issues related to Swimming Pool and SPA safety, including chemical and microbiological risks, regulation guidelines, monitoring and management.
In full continuity with the previous meetings, the 5th Conference will focus on Health, Safety and Quality of recreational waters. The conference will also be the opportunity for updating and diffusing recent WHO guidelines progress in the field.
The 5th Conference objectives include: health promotion by recreational waters; safety and quality by advanced monitoring and treatment technologies; sustainability by reduced energy/water consumption and environmental protection.
We are pleased and honoured to host the 5th International Conference on Swimming Pool and SPA in Italy, in 2013, in Rome at the University of Rome "Foro Italico" and at the Italian National Institute of Health.
