BICA 2013 - 2013 International Conference on Biologically Inspired Cognitive Architectures
Topics/Call fo Papers
The BICA annual conference series are nearly five years old. Initially started under the auspices of AAAI, the conference grew up into a world-wide forum coordinated and organized by the BICA Society, a nonprofit organization in the US. Both the BICA Society and the annual BICA Conference were established in order to promote and facilitate the study of computational cognitive models known as BICA, aiming at the emergence of a unifying, generally accepted framework for the design and characterization of human-level cognitive architectures. Consistently with this mission, we founded the journal "BICA" printed by the prestigious Elsevier since 2012, a special issue of which is selected as the main BICA 2013 volume of Proceedings. However, a journal paper is not required for participation. In all previous years, the BICA conference surprised us with a huge success in growing progression in terms of the number and quality of talks. We expect a continuation of this trend in 2013. This conference is also the best place to meet colleagues from around the world in an exciting, informal brainstorming atmosphere. The Organizing Committee is looking forward to seeing you in Kiev!
