NordiCHI 2014, the 8th Nordic Conference on Human-Computer Interaction in Helsinki, Finland! The conference will take place at Marina Congress Center, just a short seaside walk from the Helsinki city center. So book your calendars for October 26th-30th 2014, from Sunday to Thursday, and for the other important dates.
NordiCHI is the main Nordic forum for human-computer interaction research, with the conference proceedings published in ACM Digital Library. NordiCHI gathers together academics and practitioners to present and discuss challenges and achievements in human-computer interaction from diverse perspectives.
Conference theme for 2014 is Fun, Fast, Foundational
The theme applies both to the scientific content of the conference and to your visit in Helsinki:
We welcome submissions that address designing for positive experiences (such as fun), user-centred design in fast-paced agile development, as well as foundational theories and in-depth insights to the topics of the conference.
We offer you great social program to have some fun outside the conference sessions, fast wireless internet and swift moving between the conference center and hotel, as well as foundational discussions in panels and during the breaks.
