ICWS 2013 - International Conference on Women's Studies 2013

The 2013 International Conference on Women's Studies (ICWS 2013) to be held in Colombo, Sri Lanka, is the premier forum for the presentation of new trends, advances and research results in the fields of Women Studies. It will bring together leading academics, scientists and researchers from around the world.
ICWS 2013 invites individual or panel proposals for presentations on any topic on women and/or gender issues in all scholarly fields and disciplines, including but not limited to education, arts, design, business, law, humanities, social sciences and sports.
We welcome abstracts from broad definitions in local, national, and global contexts.
We welcome individual paper presentations, panel sessions, round table discussions, performances, short films and posters.
GENERALINFORMATION
ICWS 2013 aimed at presenting current research being carried out in the area of Women Studies will be held on 15-16 July 2013 , at Grand Oriental Hotel, Colombo, Sri Lanka. The objective of the conference is to present & share ongoing research activities in this field with the scientific and research communities. This conference provides opportunities for the delegates to exchange innovative ideas , learn the latest research findings from experts and enhance their knowledge, to establish business and/or research relations and to find global partners for future collaboration/research projects.
Proceedings
All accepted papers will be peer reviewed by members of the program committee and other independent reviewers (where necessary) and will be published in the edited conference proceedings with ISSN number.
