Topics/Call fo Papers

The 4th China International Conference on Electricity Distribution (CICED 2010) will be held in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province of China in Sep.2010. The CICED had already held three times before (CICED 2000 in Shanghai, CICED 2006 in Beijing and CICED 2008 in Guangzhou). CICED 2010 will be supported by Jiangsu Electric Power Company (JEPC), a subsidiary of State Grid Corporation of China, and Nanjing Power Supply Company, the subsidiary of JEPC.
The 4th CICED will be big event for electricity distribution engineers, academics, management and regulating people from China and abroad. It’s a good platform for the participants to exchange their ideas, discuss problems and share the experiences and achievements in distribution network planning, design, construction, operation, management, regulation and equipment manufacturing, which will make new breakthroughs possible and developing the distribution network towards smarter distribution.
The theme of CICED 2010 is: "Developing a Smarter Distribution Grid". CICED 2010 will explore how to promote the retrofitting within existing distribution network or constructing a new distribution network to meet the requirements for Smart Distribution (or say Smart Grid) to better meet the customers' high expectation and their demand as well as to improve the operation and maintenance of the utilities to reach the high quality service and reliable supply with high cost effective managements.

During the conference, an Exhibition will be held at the same time to introduce the new achievements and modern equipments developed in recent years to support the state-of-the ?art technologies for the smart distribution.

CICED 2010 will last 4 days, with 3 days for key note speech, paper presentation and discussion, round table seminars and new technology forum, and 1 day for a technical visit to the Nanjing Power Supply Company or the Research institute of State Power Grid of China.

There are six sessions in the conference, they are:
Session 1 Smart Distribution --- Policy, technologies and its future trends
Session 2 Network components
Session 3 Power Quality and Over-voltage Protection
Session 4 Planning, Operation, Control, Protection and Communication
Session 5 Distributed Energy Resources and Its Interconnection to Networks
Session 6 Service for Customers --- DSM, Energy Contracting Management, etc.
The official language for the presentation of papers in the conference is English.
Submit A paper to CICED 2010 is a unique opportunity to introduce your experiences, present your views and share your ideas with hundreds of professionals, experts, academics, manufacturers, utility leaders and regulators working for the electricity distribution and not only from China but also come from all the world. So you are cordially welcome to write out your paper and submit to CICED 2010.
