"The new and triumphant arch through which we passed to freedom" (AA Big Book, p. 62)
The 2013 Local Arrangements Committee (LAC) invites you to experience a "Rocky Mountain High" at the world famous Keystone Resort 07/31-08/04/2013
We look forward to hosting the 2013 meeting and hope to see many new and old members. Register online for the meeting and please make your hotel reservations as early as possible.
Located at on the west side of Loveland Pass, Keystone Resort is a short 98 mile panoramic drive from Denver International Airport. The site for the 2013 IDAA, Keystone offers 300 days of sunshine a year and multitude of activities for the entire family.
As its theme, the 2013 LAC has chosen to emphasize the four 'stones' found in the Big Book with prominence given to the Keystone of our recovery. A nationally prominent speaker is confirmed for the Saturday night banquet providing a refreshing and entertaining evening.
As always, IDAA 2013 will feature a variety of recovery programs for all family members who attend including AA, NA, Al-Anon, IDAA Teen, Ala-Twenty and the popular recovery based Jerry Moe Children's Program for 7 to 12 year olds. A program of continuing educational credits will be offered, for medical & dental. A special highlight will be sunrise AA meetings on the Continental Divide at the summit of Loveland Pass (11,990').
New attendees are, of course, the lifeblood of our conference. Thanks to the ongoing generosity of our members, partial or full AA and Al-Anon scholarships are available for individuals and families in need. If you know of anyone who may benefit from the IDAA fellowship, please encourage them to apply for a scholarship on or after March 1, 2013.
