The International Conference on Electrical Systems Research and Applications (ESRA 2013) will be held in Suzhou, China from June 19 to 21 in 2013, it aims to be the premier forum for the presentation of the state of art research work in Electrical Engineering and Material Technology. ESRA 2013 is organized by Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University, Suzhou, China. Famed as the "Venice of the Orient", Suzhou is renowned for its beautiful stone bridges, pagodas, and classical gardens. Located in the south of Jiangsu Province, with the Yangtze River to the north, almost half of the city is covered by water, which includes a vast number of ponds and streams in addition to the city's numerous canals. More than sixty beautiful gardens are maintained in Suzhou, and a number of them, including the Humble Administrator's Garden, the Lingering Garden, the Garden of the Master of Nets, and the Mountain Villa with Embracing Beauty, have been listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites. For its special beauty and rich culture, Suzhou provides artists, scholars and painters a pleasant retreat to seek inspiration and to relax. Prospective presenters and authors are invited to submit their original research papers through the online submission system. To ensure highest quality of standard, all papers submitted to ESRA will be reviewed using a double blind process. Topics of interest for submission include, but are not limited to:

Papers presented at ESRA 2013 will be published in LNEE (ISI Proceedings, EI Compendex, SCOPUS, MetaPress, Springerlink) and high quality papers will be selected for publication in the competitive International SCI Journal.
