The usage of artificial intelligence (AI) to tackle engineering problems has been one of the most exciting research topics in recent years in the large field of engineering particularly industrial applications such as wireless networks industrial plants. Typical AI techniques include artificial neural networks, genetic algorithms, swarm intelligence, fuzzy logic, expert systems, machine learning etc. AI has been successfully employed in solving real-world engineering problems such as routing in wireless networks, calibration in manufacturing/measuring system, signal processing, pattern identification, process optimization and so on. The goal of this workshop is to motivate high-quality research contributions that focus on real-world applications of AI in a variety of engineering fields. Theoretical contributions aiming aspects concerning a particular engineering are also encouraged.
