Topics/Call fo Papers
The scope of the RADECS 2013 conference encompasses technological processes and design techniques for manufacturing radiation tolerant systems for space, aeronautical and terrestrial applications, as well as relevant methodologies for their characterisation and qualification. The conference features a technical programme with both oral and poster presentations, an industrial exhibition and a one-day tutorial or ‘short course’ on radiation effects.
We invite papers describing significant new findings in the following areas of interest:
Basic mechanisms of radiation effects in electronic and optical materials
Space, atmospheric and terrestrial environments
Radiation effects on electronic and photonic devices, circuits and systems
Radiation effects on sensors and emerging devices
Technology and design hardening
Radiation hardness assurance
Irradiation facilities and testing
Accepted papers will be published in the RADECS 2013 conference proceedings. These papers will also be eligible for publication in a special issue of the IEEE Transactions on Nuclear Sciencevia a separate review process. Click here to download the first call for papers.
Deadline for abstract submission: Monday, 8 April 2013
Detailed information on the submission process and formatting instructions will be available at the beginning of March 2013. Please contact us (http://www.radecs2013.com/contact-us/) for further details.
