Topics/Call fo Papers

The special session on Symbiotic Computing and Autonomous Agents will focus on the concept and applications on “Human-Machine symbiosis”, “Society-Network symbiosis” and “Autonomous Agents”. Symbiotic Computing is an interdisciplinary research area that introduces the concept of symbiosis into the cognitive intelligence, agent-based computing, ubiquitous computing and web service computing. The concept of "Man-Machine Symbiosis" was addressed by J. C. R Licklider in 1960. The concept of Symbiosis is now expected to bridge the gaps between Real Space and Digital Space. The symbiotic applications through the Internet and the ubiquitous environment such as caring service for elderly people and children, health care services, e-Government services and autonomous agents will be discussed in this session.
Scope
Suggested topics include, but are not limited to:
** Human-Machine Symbiosis
** Society-Network Symbiosis
** Autonomous Agents
** Concept and Model of Symbiotic Computing Model
** Ubiquitous Sensor Networks and Awareness
** Intelligent Signal Processing and pattern recognition
** Cognitive Machine and Program
** Intelligent Assistant
** Virtual Space Interface
** Social Computing and Perceptual Computing
** E-Government and Social Simulation
** Agent Frameworks and Platform
