ICIRA 2013 - 2013 International Conference on Intelligent Robotics and Applications

The 2013 International Conference on Intelligent Robotics and Applications(ICIRA 2013) will be held in Busan, Korea, from september 25th to 28th, 2013. The conference offers an unique and interesting platform for scientists, engineers and practitioners throughout the world to present and share their most recent research and innovative ideas in the areas of robotics, automation and mechatronics.
Contributed Papers
Prospective authors are invited to submit the full version of their manuscripts in MS Word. A maximum of 12 pages in the standard ICIRA format is allowed for each paper, including figures, tables and references. Detailed instructions for paper submission are available on the conference web site.
Organized Sessions
The conference will feature organized sessions on new topics and innovative applications. These sessions will consist of 5-6 articles and undergo a regular review process. Prospective organizers should include a brief statement of purpose for the session as well as the abstracts of the papers.
Location
Busan, a bustling city of approximately 3.7 million residents, is located on the Southeastern tip of the Korean peninsula. The size of Busan is 763.3? which is 0.8% of the whole land of the Korean Peninsula. The natural environment of Busan is a perfect example of harmony between mountains, rivers and sea. Its geography includes a coastline with superb beaches and scenic cliffs, mountains which provide excellent hiking and extraordinary views, and hot springs scattered throughout the city. Busan enjoys four distinct seasons and a temperate climate that never gets too hot or too cold. Busan is the second largest city in Korea. Its deep harbor and gentle tides have allowed it to grow into the largest container handling port in the country and the fifth largest in the world, with potential for even more growth. Its natural endowments and rich history have resulted in Busan's increasing reputation as a world class city of tourism and culture.
Selected papers will be published in Springer’s Lecture Notes in Artificial Intelligence. All published papers will be indexed in EI. In addition, we will invite the authors of papers with high review scores to expand their papers for special issues to be published in SCI/SCIE journals.
Any contributed or invited paper can be nominated for the ICIRA 2013 Best Paper Award, ICIRA 2013 Best Poster Paper Award and the ICIRA 2013 Best Student Paper Award. The final evaluation by the awards committee will take into account the presentations at ICIRA 2013.
