FDHP 2013 - 2nd International Conference on Faculty Development in the Health Professions

With the professionalisation of the training and education of healthcare professionals, and increasing accountability to learners, regulators and those responsible for setting curricula, it is vitally important that academic health science centres and other education providers address the professional development needs of faculty.
The 2nd International Conference on Faculty Development in the Health Professions (organised by a collaboration of international universities and other healthcare professions organisations in association with the Association for Medical Education in Europe) aims to provide a vibrant academic forum to bring together all those working in the field of faculty development. It builds on the highly successful 1st International Conference on Faculty Development in the Health Professions held in Toronto in 2011. The conference will be held on August 23-25th 2013 in Prague.
Call for abstracts now open - deadline extended to 18 January 2013
We are pleased to announce the call for abstracts is open using the online abstract submission system. The conference is especially interested in abstracts which address the themes of the conference. The deadline for submission has been extended to 18 January 2013 due to the number of extension requests received.
