Topics/Call fo Papers
The 3rd International Symposium on Systems and Control in Aeronautics and Astronautics (ISSCAA 2010) will be held during 08-10 June 2010 in Harbin, China. The conference is organized by Space Control and Inertial Technology Research Center (SCIT) of Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT).
The purpose of the conference is to create a forum for scientists, engineers and practitioners throughout the world to present the latest technology advancement in systems and control of aeronautics and astronautics. Conference scope covers all theoretical and practical aspects of the related fields. In addition to the technical sessions, there will be plenary and special sessions.
High quality papers containing original contributions within the following areas will be solicited:
Part I: Aeropace Technologies
Spacecraft Technologies : Space missions, systems and architecture; Spacecraft and Launching vehicle systems and technologies; Antenna systems and technologies; Prognostics and health management.
Aeronautics Technologies : Aerodynamics; Flight mechanics; Flight experiment; Avionics; Unmanned aerial vehicles; Remote sensing; Radar systems and applications.
Guidance and Navigation : Autopilot; Navigation platform; Inertial components and system; Autonomous guidance and navigation; Seeker components and systems.
Space Robots: Robot formation : Space walking robot; Space station; Autonomous rendezvous and docking; Remote operation.
Emerging Technologies : Space medicine & medical engineering; Biomedical instrumentation; Micro-electromechanical systems; Applications of networks and multimedia technologies; Integrated systems and processes; New materials and power sources, etc.
Part II: Fundamentals in Systems and Control
Control Systems : Adaptive control; Intelligent control; Hybrid control; Digital control; Robust control; Nonlinear control; Networked Control; System theory and applications; Cybernetics and new methodologies.
Signal Processing : Signal, image and data processing; Pattern classification; Modeling and simulation; Estimation and identification; Fault detection and diagnostics; Computer vision.
Computational Intelligence : Neural networks; Fuzzy systems; Evolutionary computing; Aerospace applications of intelligent systems.
Special Sessions
The Technical Program Committee will invite some established researchers to give special talks on their research fields during the conference.
Invited Sessions
The Technical Program Committee is soliciting proposals for invited sessions focusing on topics of the conference. Prospective organizers should submit proposals to Dr. Hu Qinglei , via email isscaa-AT-hit.edu.cn before 15 Feb 2010.
Best Paper Award
Selection of the best paper will be made at the Conference based on both the technical content and presentation. The winner will be chosen by the Technical Program Committee in consultation with the International Advisory Committee.
Submission Format
All submitted papers should be written in English in the form of . pdf or . ps file and are to be limited to a maximum length of 6 pages (A4 size, single space, Times Roman of font size 10, two columns format), including figures, tables and references. Please use the template which is available from the website. Upon acceptance, authors will be required to register and present their papers. Papers will be published in the conference proceedings only if at least one of the authors is officially registered. Each registration covers a maximum of two papers.
All accepted papers presented at the conference will be included by IEEE Explore, and indexed by EI and ISTP .
