NGCUE 2013 - Special Session on Next Generation of Cooperative Ubiquitous Environments
Topics/Call fo Papers
In this special session, which is part of the 39th Euromicro Conference on Software Engineering and Advanced Applications - SEAA 2013, and will take place from 4 to 6 Sept. 2013 in Santander, Spain, we explore current and future trends in the design and implementation of cooperative systems and ubiquitous computing environments. It aims to bring together experts from academia and industry who share interest in the study and design of effective groupware solutions and social media systems, as well as innovative ubiquitous computing tools and environments. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
Software architectures for cooperative systems
Distributed, heterogeneous ubiquitous environments
Cooperative information environments
Advanced social media systems
Advanced groupware, workgroup computing, coop. virtual reality systems
Cross-platform software development
Development environments and tools
Algorithms, methods, and processes
This session is an opportunity for designers and researchers to discuss their experiences with implementing cooperative systems and ubiquitous computing for large organisations in industry, government, and academia. It is open for sharing information about new CSCW technologies and practices.
Program Committee
