5th Printing Future Days. The conference will take place from September 10 - 12, 2013 in Chemnitz, Germany.
The 5th Printing Future Days 2013 will be held jointly with the 40th International Research Conference of iarigai. Both conferences will celebrate their anniversary in Chemnitz. The slogan for this double event is
"Digitalization of Print - Exchanging Ideas Across Generations"
The Printing Future Days 2013 encourage young scientists to present their research results on topics of printing technologies. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
Color Image Printing (prepress technologies, conventional and digital printing, novel printing technologies, drying, curing, fusing)
Packaging Printing (packaging design, inks & substrates, printed smart objects, digital technologies for packaging)
Applications (texts, figures, images, varnishing, packaging, printed electronics, new media and business concepts)
Functional Printing (inks and functionalities, adaption for traditional technologies, functionality forming, process and press engineering, 3D printing)
The Printing Future Days 2013 Call for Papers is open now. Please submit abstracts until 15 February, 2013. Submissions must be in English. Your contribution should be send as .doc/x and .pdf file. Please send both documents to info-AT-printingfuturedays.com (successfully submitted abstracts will be confirmed).
All submitted abstracts will be reviewed, selected and classified by the Scientific Conference Committee consisting of lecturers and industry representatives. The conference provides three classifications:
Focal presentations (25 min oral presentation and 5 min discussion),
Oral presentations (15 min oral presentation and 5 min discussion) and
Interactive presentations (poster presentation).
In order to give as many students as possible the opportunity to be part of the Printing Future Days 2013 the participation is free of charge for students.
