Abstracts for oral and poster contributions should be submitted to the conference secretariat (TWAM2013-AT-ua.pt) using the submission form (download).
The abstracts should be no longer than 4000 characters (approximately 500 words), and include title, the names and affiliation of all authors, keywords (up to 5), the conference topic (Conference topics) and the type of presentation (oral or poster). The abstract should be saved with the name of the first author (“TWAM2013_Surname-Name”) and sent to the abovementioned e-mail. Within the overarching theme of the TWAM2013 International Conference “Trans-boundary water resources management across borders and interfaces”, the following specific conference topics are defined:
1. Water resources modelling
2. Technological and natural solutions
3. Environmental impacts, ecosystems services and values
4. Economic incentives and instruments
5. Water governance, institutions and regulations
6. Stakeholder engagement
7. Planning water resources and land use
8. Integrated assessment and decision support tools
All accepted oral and poster contributions will be included in the TWAM2013 conference proceedings. High quality papers will be considered for publication in a special issue journal (more...).
Important notes:
Each corresponding author can submit up to one (1) oral and one (1) poster contribution.
Accepted oral and poster contributions will only be included in the TWAM2013 proceedings if the corresponding author has registered and paid the registration fee by 15 February 2013.
One full registration covers only one (1) paper and one (1) poster contribution.
