THE INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM ON ALCOHOL FUELS ISAF XVIII WILL BE HELD IN MARCH 2010
The purpose of ISAF is to look for innovations for sustainability of substitute energy sources, such as alcohol and ether fuels, etc, and in furtherance to communicate the research, development and utilization in regard to them, to accelerate the exploitation of clean alternate fuels for vehicles, and to reduce environmental pollution both from industrial and motor sources. Therefore the abatement of pollution and knowledge about various effluent treatment technologies available and/or applicable for alcohol/distilleries will be one of the major thrust domain of the ISAF XVIII, in addition to the core topic of innovations for sustainable solutions for production of Alcohol Fuels. As without ensuring complete non-pollution of environment in any form, the production of new & renewable fuel will be completely non-desirable ISAF is held every two years, up till now it has been held in different countries for 17 times in South Africa, Canada, Brazil(twice) America(3 times),China( twice), Japan, Thailand, Germany, France, Italy, Sweden(twice) and New Zealand. The International Organizing Committee decided that ISAF XVIII be held in New Delhi to allow international policy makers, scientists, and energy and clear environment experts to add to their experience and learn about world’s and in particular India’s efforts in the area of sustainable fuels and aggressive implementation of new alcohol technologies from other resources environmental, and effluent treatment policies and technologies.
